For three evenings in December, Huntersville Parks & Recreation sets up Santa's Village inside the American Legion Post 321 building downtown. Families take a pretend 'magical flight' and stroll through a North Pole scene before visiting with Santa. Reservations open closer to the dates for families who want to skip the wait, and walk-ups are fitted in between reservation times. It is part of the town's free Holidays in Huntersville series and suits toddlers through early elementary children especially. Bring your own camera for photos with Santa.
