The Grinch stops in Streamwood for breakfast on Saturday, December 5, 2026, from 10 to 11:30 a.m. at the Park Place Family Recreation Center. Families sit down to a themed breakfast, 'Mount Crumpit Stacks with Roast Beast Sausage', then take photos with the green holiday troublemaker and join holiday-themed activities while everyone tries to help his heart grow three sizes. It is a lighter alternative to a Santa breakfast for children who love the Dr. Seuss story, and the park district suggests reserving seats early because the event usually sells out. Tickets are $15 per person or $50 for a family of four.
