About this adventure

Fair Oaks Farms in Fair Oaks, Indiana, runs Dairy Tales with Farmer Kringle every Friday and Saturday in December, from 5 to 6 p.m. Central time. Guests meet at the farm's Admissions building, where arriving an hour early leaves time for the holiday decor and games in the Adventures buildings, and then ride a Christmas-themed bus, escorted by an elf, to the farm's Robotic Dairy. There, in the viewing areas where visitors can see the cows, Farmer John Kringle, introduced as Santa's brother, tells a farm-themed Christmas tale. Children can meet him, share their wish lists for him to pass on to Santa, or have a photo taken with him, and everyone receives a cookie and a bottle of milk. Tickets are $25 per person and must be bought online; phone bookings are not accepted. Driving directly to the Robotic Dairy is prohibited, all buildings and buses are wheelchair accessible, and dogs are not allowed.
