About this adventure
Santa arrives by helicopter at Schaumburg Regional Airport. Families wait inside the airport hangar with a buffet breakfast or lunch (depending on the slot), holiday music and crafts; as Santa approaches, the hangar doors open so children can watch the helicopter land. Santa then comes inside to greet children and pose for photos. Slots: Saturday, Dec. 5 lunch only (1–3 p.m.), and Sunday, Dec. 6 breakfast (9–11 a.m.) or lunch (1–3 p.m.). Hangar doors open 30 minutes before each start; the line often runs outdoors, so dress warmly, and seating is first-come, first-served. Both children and adults must register; children 2 and younger are free.
