Santa visits Bird Haven Greenhouse in Joliet, a historic glass conservatory filled with holiday plants, on Saturday, December 5, and Saturday, December 12, from noon to 3 p.m. Photos with Santa are free. The greenhouse's poinsettia sale runs the same weekend of December 5–6, so it is easy to combine with seasonal plant shopping. Bring your own camera or phone for the photos. The greenhouse is next to Joliet's Pilcher Park and is free to visit during open hours.
