Woodridge opens its newest and largest park, the 42.5-acre Jubilee Point Park at 7101 Woodridge Drive, with a grand opening celebration on Saturday, October 31 from 10 am to noon. After remarks and a ribbon cutting, families can explore the park with family-friendly activities, a DJ, treats and giveaways; the first 100 families receive a commemorative gift. About 15 acres are developed so far, including a towering destination playground, a multi-sport court for basketball and futsal, pickleball courts, an open play area, ping pong tables, baggo courts, walking and biking trails, a community garden and a reservable picnic pavilion. A good Halloween-morning outing before trick-or-treating.
