A Halloween night hike at Riverview Farmstead Preserve in Naperville on Friday, October 23. Families come in costume, walk a glowing night trail through prairie and woods, pop in and out of historic barns and buildings, and keep an eye out for hidden treats (and tricks). The evening ends by a crackling fire with marshmallows for s'mores. Two sessions run, 6–7 p.m. and 7:30–8:30 p.m. The organizer stresses it is a real night hike, not a parking-lot trunk or treat. $5 per person; all ages; children with a registered adult. Register by October 20.
