Kids ages 4 to 17 can trick-or-treat their way around Red Hawk Park in Carol Stream on Saturday, October 24, between noon and 2 pm. Costumes are encouraged, and the Carol Stream Park District sets up a festive trail filled with candy and games, plus a bouncy house. The park's walking trail is about 1.1 miles long. Early-bird registration ended October 16 and pre-registration closes October 23; after that, walk-up registration costs $20 per child, cash only, and is offered only if space allows.
