Just before Thanksgiving, families learn about the wild turkey at Rosewood Beach Interpretive Center on Sunday, November 15, from 10 to 11 a.m., including why Ben Franklin thought it should be the national bird. Everyone makes a turkey call and heads into the woods to try it out. All ages; $14 per participant with pre-registration required, and children must come with a paid, registered adult.
