About this adventure
A seven-week beginner guitar class for children aged 8 to 12 on Monday evenings at the Anderson Parks RecPlex. Instructor Jon Armstrong, a music teacher with a degree in music education, teaches the basics through modern and classic songs in a small group. Students bring their own guitar and a folder for handouts; the instructor can advise families who still need to buy a guitar. Teens 13 and up have their own Level 1 class at 6:30 pm, and a Level 2 class for advanced beginners (ages 8 and up) meets at 7:30 pm. Register in advance; space is limited.
