The Independence Branch Library becomes a North Pole stop on Thursday evening, December 17, from 6 to 8 pm. Children can visit Santa's workshop, make a craft and eat cookies while holiday songs play. Santa, Mrs. Claus and helpful elves greet visitors, chat with kids and pose for selfies. No registration is required; crafts and cookies are available while supplies last. A low-key Santa visit for toddlers through early elementary children and their families.
