After a brief indoor orientation in Groesbeck Lodge, families head to Cincinnati Nature Center's flying squirrel viewing area at dusk to learn how to spot these seldom-seen forest residents as they glide in for their evening meal. About 0.25-0.5 mile of moderate, uneven terrain at a slow pace; mostly outdoors, rain or shine. Bring a flashlight (red light preferred) and dress in layers.
