During the Krohn Conservatory holiday show A Spider's Gift, the conservatory runs a children's Discovery Space on selected weekday mornings. On November 11 and December 9 (10:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m.) the Cincinnati Public Library brings storytime to Krohn; on November 18 and 23 (10 a.m.-noon) Cincinnati Parks' Explore Nature naturalists host the space; and on November 25 and December 30 (10 a.m.-noon) it is a children's craft session. The activities are free with admission to A Spider's Gift, the conservatory's spider-themed holiday display inspired by the Ukrainian Christmas Spider folktale. Krohn admission is $12 for adults and $8 for children 5-17; under-5s are free. Good for preschoolers and early-elementary kids who want a hands-on break while touring the show.
