A WAVE Foundation presentation with a live penguin comes to the Covington Branch Library on Monday, December 21, during winter break. Families meet the penguin, hear facts from aquarium staff and then make penguin-themed arts and crafts. The program runs 4 to 5 pm in the Children's Activity Room. It is listed for all ages and registration is open through the library calendar. A good winter-break outing for preschoolers and elementary-age animal fans.
