Peanut Butter & Jam Sessions brings its percussion concert for young children to the Cincinnati Art Museum on a Saturday in early December. In Hit It!, musicians let kids get up close to the instruments of the percussion family, show what makes them fascinating to young listeners and jam through music in many different styles, so children can feel the beat rather than sit still. The organizers describe the series as a free, low-stakes way to introduce children to the importance of music. The hour-long concert starts at noon on December 5 at the museum on Eden Park Drive.
