On Halloween itself, Findlay Market in Over-the-Rhine becomes one big trick-or-treat stop. From 4 to 6 p.m. on Saturday, October 31, market merchants dress up and pass out candy to any child in costume, both inside the Market House and at the storefronts around it. Every business handing out candy is clearly marked, so families can see where to stop without guessing. The market invites all families, school groups and neighbors, which makes it a late-afternoon option for toddlers and grade-schoolers before evening neighborhood trick-or-treating.
