About this adventure

Housed in the restored Stager Beckwith mansion on Euclid Avenue, the Children's Museum of Cleveland is built for children from birth to age 8 and their grown-ups. The largest exhibit is a pretend City with a market, construction site and a two-story climber; a water lab has whirlpools, jets and river tables plus a magnetic ball-track wall and bubble cascades. Children can stage their own shows in the theater, peek into a top-floor collection of dollhouses (including a replica of the mansion), make shadow music, and take projects home from the sunlit art studio. The Meadow is a calm sensory space for infants, crawlers and early walkers, with a private nursing area and a child-height toilet for potty-trainers. Adults must stay with children; food stays in the eating area. The RTA HealthLine's E. 40th St. stop is right outside.
