About this adventure
The Cleveland Museum of Art's permanent collection galleries are always free, so a family can drop in for an hour of armor, mummies and paintings without buying anything. The interactive ArtLens Gallery near the entrance lets kids strike poses and make gestures to match artworks on screens, and the ArtLens app offers self-guided tours. Free daily highlights tours run at 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. (ticket required, 15 per group). Some special exhibitions charge admission. Every visitor passes through metal detectors, and minors must be with an adult. The museum garage is entered from Jeptha Drive.
