About this adventure
Cleveland Ballet's full two-act Nutcracker returns to the Connor Palace at Playhouse Square, set to Tchaikovsky's score and based on E.T.A. Hoffmann's story. Clara's gift of a nutcracker doll leads to a battle with the Mouse King and a journey through the Land of Sweets to the Sugar Plum Fairy. Weekend matinees at 1 p.m. are the easiest fit for younger children; a Friday-morning performance is also on the calendar.
