About this adventure

Families walk the lower zoo after dark through lighted holiday areas the page names, including Twinkly Trail, Glittering Galaxy, Winter Fairytale, Gingerbread Lane presented by Meijer, and the Future for Wildlife Trail. A walk-through ticket also covers unlimited rides on the Circle of Wildlife Carousel presented by MetroHealth and Rudolph in the 4-D theater on walk-through nights. Children can meet Santa at his workshop, and guests may take their own photos with him on a phone or camera at no extra charge. The evening includes a musical show built around a 50-foot tree, costumed characters, and food stands such as Jack Frost Donuts, Kernels by Chrissie, and hot chocolate. The Eagle Zip Adventure and the Cleveland Metroparks Railroad sell separate tickets on these nights and are not included. Limited sensory bags, strollers, wagons, and wheelchairs can be rented; the page does not publish a sensory-friendly night. The route is outdoors, rain or shine, with no rain checks. Primate Forest, Australian Adventure, and Primate, Cat & Aquatics stay closed, and trams do not run. Guests who need a wheelchair or electric scooter are asked to reserve one with the gift shop before they arrive.
