About this adventure
A free, bilingual family day at the Cleveland Museum of Art's Community Arts Center (Centro de Artes Comunitarias) on Cleveland's near west side, held on Día de los Muertos. With the Mexican Committee of Cleveland, families learn the art and history of Day of the Dead through art making, hear from experts and people who celebrate the holiday, and watch live dancers perform over an ephemeral sawdust carpet (tapete). The monthly FUNday format also includes family games and movement activities for all ages and abilities. No ticket is required, and there is free parking on Castle Avenue. The CAC also points families to the Cleveland Día de Muertos Parade in Gordon Square on Saturday, November 7.
