About this adventure
A Halloween family concert at Severance Music Center featuring the Baldwin Wallace Symphony Orchestra conducted by Douglas Droste, with dancing skeletons, witches, trolls and galactic villains in music by Mussorgsky, Saint-Saëns, Berlioz, Grieg and John Williams, plus a new Halloween piece by Cleveland composer Clint Needham. Pre-concert activities in Smith Lobby start an hour before, including instrument discovery with Royalton Music and a costume backdrop and raffle. A sensory-friendly version runs at 1 p.m. the same day, and the orchestra posts a social story guide to help children prepare.
