About this adventure

Farmpark is a 235-acre working farm and education center in Kirtland, opened in 1990 to show families where food and clothing come from. Children can meet dairy cows, pigs, sheep, chickens, rabbits, horses, alpacas and goats, explore the plant science center and farm machinery exhibits, and burn off energy at the playground. Horse- or tractor-drawn wagons (wheelchair accessible) carry visitors between areas, and daily demonstrations and programs cover farming and gardening. Monthly weekends such as Maple Sugaring and Fall Harvest add more. The café has closed for good, so pack a picnic for the shelters or the Visitor Center atrium; the gift shop sells refreshments. Children under 16 must be with an adult. Evening drive-thru light events need separate advance tickets.
