About this adventure
Miller Nature Preserve covers 145 wooded acres in the middle of Avon. Its centerpiece is a 5,000-square-foot conservatory, the first in Lorain County, inside a visitor center with a café and gift shop; a seasonal Butterfly House adds live butterflies in warmer months. Trails lead out from the building into the woods. Admission is a few dollars and children 2 and under are free; an annual membership covering the conservatory and butterfly house costs $20.
