Canal Winchester's free storybook Christmas festival in the historic downtown both nights 6–9 PM: tree lighting at 6:00 PM at Stradley Place Greenspace, Santa at the Interurban Depot from 6:15 PM, iceless skating rink in the City Hall parking lot, Rudolph's reindeer friends, carriage rides, Christmas train rides, ice sculptures, free crafts and hot chocolate at Town Hall, craft bazaar and train display at the Community Center. Friday: Santa arrives by firetruck at 6:00 PM. Saturday: Brockstrong Holiday Lights Parade with Santa begins at 5:30 PM.
