Santa's Mailbox at Bob Crane Community Center

About this adventure

From mid-November to mid-December, Upper Arlington Parks & Recreation keeps a mailbox for letters to Santa at the Bob Crane Community Center. Children write their letter at home, bring it in during building hours and post it; the city says Santa's team from the North Pole collects the letters and passes them on so Santa can write back. For a reply, the letter must include the child's name and home address, and families should tuck an unaffixed postage stamp in with it. It is a small, low-key activity that suits preschoolers and early-elementary children who are writing or dictating their first Santa letter, and it can be combined with a visit to the community center. No registration or fee is mentioned beyond the stamp.
