- Interurban Railway Museum
Every Friday at 11 a.m., the Interurban Railway Museum in downtown Plano holds a free storytime with songs and stories, then a look around the museum and historic Car 360, a restored interurban railcar. Storytime is aimed at children under 5, but all children and their grown-ups are welcome. The museum opens at 10:30 a.m., so you can arrive early and look at the train exhibits first. Train-loving toddlers will especially enjoy getting close to the real railcar.
