The Rotary Parades of Plano holiday parade takes place on Saturday, December 12, 2026, at 2 p.m. in Downtown Plano. This year's theme, 'Red, White and Merry,' marks America's 250th birthday by mixing stars and stripes with Santa and snowflakes, so expect floats in red, white and blue with holiday lights. The route starts on 19th Street at M Avenue, heads west on 19th, south on K Avenue, east on 15th Street and north on M Avenue, and finishes at 18th Street. That puts much of it along the historic 15th Street shops and Haggard Park, where families can find curb space. Watching is free. Community groups can still register floats, vehicles or walking groups at rotaryparadesofplano.com. The listing says the parade may be cancelled in bad weather, so check before you head out.
