About this adventure
The City of The Colony kicks off its holiday season with an evening festival at Perryman Park. Families can do holiday crafts, ride the kids' rides, play yard games, walk a light trail, have photos taken with Santa and watch local groups on a community stage, with food trucks and business vendors on site. A holiday parade steps off at 5:45 p.m. from Peters Colony Elementary, travels down Blair Oaks past the festival and ends at The Colony High School, so families can watch from the park. The same night opens The Colony Christmas Spectacular light show at the nearby Central Firehouse, which makes it easy to combine both. Dress warmly; the event is outdoors and runs three hours.
