Galleria Dallas lights its large menorah for Hanukkah on December 6 at 5 p.m., on Level 1 near Zara, with remarks from Temple Shalom. After the opening ceremony, the menorah is lit every night through the last night of Hanukkah, December 11. The ceremony is short and held inside the mall, so it works for families with young children who want to see a public menorah lighting and learn about the Festival of Lights. The page doesn't list a cost. The mall's other holiday features, including the giant indoor tree and its light shows, are nearby if you're making an evening of it.
