About this adventure

DeSoto Public Library runs a short evening storytime on Monday nights in December that is built around getting ready for bed. Children are encouraged to come dressed in their favorite pajamas and to bring a snuggly friend, then settle in for calming bedtime tales, songs and simple activities. The library describes it as a cozy, family-friendly program that helps build early literacy skills while giving families a relaxing end to the evening. Each session lasts half an hour, starting at 6:30 PM, so families can come after dinner and head straight home to bed. There are four December dates, so families can make it a weekly wind-down ritual through the holidays or simply pick the Monday that suits them.
