On Thursday, December 3, 2026, the Grapevine Vintage Railroad runs its Santa's North Pole Express from the Historic Stockyards Station in Fort Worth instead of Grapevine. The trains leave from and come back to the Stockyards, at five boarding times: 1:30, 3, 4:30, 6 and 7:30 p.m. The ride is the same as the Grapevine one: decorated vintage coaches, sing-alongs led by Santa's elves, a visit from Santa and Mrs. Claus, and a cookie with chocolate milk in a souvenir mug. Pajamas are encouraged. Everyone who has turned 2 needs a ticket, and younger children need a lap-child ticket. Strollers can't go on the train. Check-in starts 20 minutes before departure, doors close 5 minutes before, and missed trains aren't refunded. If you live in Fort Worth, this saves you the drive and the weekend parking in Grapevine.
