On three Saturdays in December, SEA LIFE Grapevine Aquarium at Grapevine Mills adds a holiday diver to its ocean tunnel: Scuba Santa dives down at 11 am to meet the aquarium's sea creatures and interact with visitors while he finishes his naughty-or-nice list. For the season the underwater ocean tunnel is filled with holiday lights, and the aquarium's 10-plus interactive zones are decorated, so a regular visit doubles as a festive outing for toddlers and school-age children. Dives are scheduled for December 5, 12 and 19 at 11 am; the aquarium notes that dive times are subject to change, so check its website before you go. The Grapevine visitors bureau lists the attraction's hours on those days as 10 am to 6 pm and admission at $19.99, with tickets sold through SEA LIFE Grapevine's own site. Plan to arrive a little before 11 to be inside the tunnel when Santa enters the water, and combine the visit with LEGOLAND Discovery Center next door if your children are builders.
