About this adventure
A Tuesday-morning series for preschoolers and young kids at the Palace Arts Center in downtown Grapevine: children watch a classic Thanksgiving cartoon on the big screen while making a themed craft, with a small popcorn and drink included in the child ticket. The 2026 line-up is Winnie the Pooh: Seasons of Giving (November 3), A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving and Garfield's Thanksgiving (November 10), Alvin and the Chipmunks – Alvin's Thanksgiving Celebration (November 17), and A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving with Garfield's Thanksgiving again on November 24, when a second 1 p.m. showing is added for Thanksgiving week. Each cartoon runs about 25 minutes or more, so a session fits easily into a morning. Children must come with an adult, and adults cannot attend without a child; every guest needs a ticket, except children under 2, who get in free but receive no craft kit. Enter through the Lancaster Theatre, the yellow building with green doors beside the Palace Theatre. All ticket sales are final.
