About this adventure
The Denver Center's Theatre for Young Audiences production adapts Mo Willems' award-winning picture books into an interactive musical in which a determined, mischievous Pigeon begs, squawks and schemes to drive a city bus. Catchy songs by Deborah Wicks La Puma and goofy dances keep preschool and early-elementary kids involved, and the show runs about an hour with no intermission, which the Denver Center pitches as a first trip to live theatre. Performances run through December 20 in the intimate Randy Weeks Conservatory Theatre; many dates are filling, and the organizer suggests Thanksgiving week and December weekends for the best availability. An ASL-interpreted and audio-described performance is on November 8 at 1:30 pm.
