Evergreen Park & Recreation District offers public ice skating on maintained rinks on Evergreen Lake each winter, with the Evergreen Lake House transformed into the Skating Center. Skate rentals are available on site. In past seasons EPRD has sold a season pass ($200) and a 10-punch pass ($120, kids 3 and younger free); youth beginner skating clinics (ages 4-12), learn-to-play hockey clinics (ages 4-12), intermediate skating clinics (ages 6-10), a free Try Hockey day with the Colorado Avalanche and Sunday pickup pond hockey are also offered. Rinks are always subject to closure due to weather or ice conditions. As of September 28, 2026, EPRD states that information about the 2026/2027 ice skating season will be released once there is an opening day.
