Commerce City's seasonal outdoor ice rink returns to the Civic Center for its second year, opening Friday, November 20, 2026 and running until January 18, 2027. Public hours are Monday–Thursday 3–7 p.m., Friday 3–9 p.m., Saturday 11 a.m.–9 p.m. and Sunday 11 a.m.–7 p.m. School holidays have longer hours, the rink closes early on Christmas Eve, and it is closed on Thanksgiving and Christmas Day. Weekend admission is $4 with your own skates or $8 with skate rental. On weekdays, admission plus rental is $6, and a family pack for four people with rentals is $24. Helmets rent for $4, and spectators who are not skating get in free. Skate aids (walkers) are free while they last. The city says the rink is beginner-friendly, skating is for ages 5 and older, and buying tickets online ahead is recommended on weekends and holidays. Walk-up tickets depend on capacity. Dress in warm layers, gloves and thick socks.
