An early New Year's Eve for families at Hudson Gardens. The Hudson Holidays light walk is open from 5:00 p.m., and at 8:00 p.m. the gardens run their own countdown with a balloon drop and a celebratory toast, so kids can ring in the new year without staying up until midnight. The rest of the evening includes the regular Hudson Holidays attractions: glowing garden displays, the Holiday Maze, the Holiday Railroad, cocoa and s'mores by the fire. Tickets are dated (on sale November 9); dress warmly for an outdoor evening.
