About this adventure

Historic Schweiger Ranch, the Austrian homestead on South Havana Street in Lone Tree, lights up its buildings for the holidays every evening from November 26, 2026 through January 24, 2027. The display is meant to be enjoyed from the warmth of your car, either from the ranch parking lot or while driving along Havana Street; the ranch complex itself is closed and visitors may not enter the gates. For a closer look on foot, the East West Trail passes near the homestead and makes a short winter evening walk. The ranch keeps up the Colorado custom of leaving holiday lights on through the end of the National Western Stock Show, which is why the display runs well into January. On Saturday, December 5 the ranch also holds its separate daytime Austrian Christmas festival with Santa and his reindeer.
