The Parade Company's centennial America's Thanksgiving Parade steps off on Thanksgiving morning along Woodward Avenue in Detroit. The route is three miles along Woodward from Kirby to Congress; the parade steps off at Kirby and Woodward at 8:45 a.m. and takes roughly an hour and a half to march south to the Celebration Zone, officially ending at Congress and Woodward. The parade is free and open to the public along most of its route; grandstand tickets are sold separately. The Parade Company says the 2026 lineup of celebrities, floats, balloons and marching bands is still being built. Road closures on Woodward from W.
