Cook-A-Book pairs a picture book with a kitchen project at the Westland library. Children ages 4 and up listen to a story, then prepare a recipe related to it, so they practice measuring, mixing and following steps while connecting food to reading. Bring an apron or smock if you have one and be ready to roll up your sleeves. The December session is on Sunday, December 13, 2026, from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. in the Youth Program Room. Registration begins two weeks before the program. No fee is listed on the event page.
