Redford Leisure Services' Cookies for Santa is a one-hour holiday decorating session for children ages 3 to 12, two days before Christmas. Each child gets cookies, frosting and decorations to make a plate for Santa ('make sure Santa has a full belly for his trip around the world'), and goes home with a holiday to-go bag. Children ages 3 and 4 must be accompanied by an adult. It runs Wednesday, December 23, 2026, from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. at the Recreation & Wellness Center on Beech Daly. Fees are tiered: $10 for Wellness Center members, $12 for Redford residents and $15 for non-residents. Pre-registration is required and closes December 20. A good fit for preschoolers and grade-schoolers during winter break.
