DYNO Detroit

Indoor climbing gym in Detroit's Eastern Market area with roped walls up to 50 feet, autobelays and bouldering. The minimum age to climb is 5. Minors must watch the orientation video and have a waiver completed by a parent or legal guardian; required supervision ratios are 1 adult to 1 child for ages 5-6, 1 to 2 for ages 7-10 and 1 to 3 for ages 11-13 (14+ may climb without direct supervision). Autobelays are recommended for youth after a brief staff training; bouldering is often too difficult for kids under 10 and staff may restrict young children during busy periods. Climbers 14+ can take the 90-minute Learn the Ropes class. The gym cannot host organized youth groups or birthday parties, and visiting parties with climbers under 14 are limited to six youth climbers.
