According to the city, participating recreation sites offer haunted houses, carnival games, face painting, DJs and more, with exact activity times set by each site. Both stops are free and part of the citywide Halloween in the D program.

What was checked & what still needs confirmation
All Halloween in the D sites are listed on one City of Detroit page (curl, read 2026-10-21); 'free' comes from the program text ('safe, fun, and free experiences'). The page's sign-up link is for volunteers and participating partners; no family registration is mentioned. Merges the 5th Precinct trunk-or-treat (Chandler Park Dome, 12300 Chandler Park Dr.) with the Chandler Fieldhouse recreation celebration (12600 Chandler Park Drive, Detroit, MI 48213, 4–6:30 pm); same park, same hours. No phone printed for the fieldhouse.
