About this adventure

Dearborn Wanderlights is the City of Dearborn's holiday light display at PEACE Park West in the West Downtown district, and the 2026 season opens with the city's annual Christmas tree lighting. At the kickoff on Thursday evening, November 19, the park is wrapped in thousands of lights, Dearborn Combined Voices and other community groups perform, children can get festive glitter tattoos, complimentary treats are handed out first come, first served, and Santa makes his first appearance of the season with family photo opportunities. After opening night the lights stay up through January 3, 2027, so families can come back for an evening stroll along the park's walkways and pavilion during winter break. The city describes Wanderlights as a free, family-friendly experience and mentions no tickets or reservations. Nightly display hours are not listed, so check the city's page before planning a later visit.
