About this adventure

Supper with Santa is The Henry Ford's family dinner package during Holiday Nights in Greenfield Village. Guests board a horse-drawn wagon at the village gates between 4:30 and 5 p.m. and ride along lantern-lit streets to A Taste of History restaurant, where a one-hour holiday buffet is served from 5 to 6 p.m. Santa visits the tables, there is live music, and each child receives a themed craft bag to take home. The buffet includes kid staples such as chicken nuggets and macaroni and cheese alongside carved turkey and ham, sides and Christmas cookies; vegan and gluten-free meals can be requested when booking, and every seat for a child 4 and under comes with a high chair. On December 26–28 the program is adjusted for a playful post-Christmas visit before Santa leaves on vacation. Every ticket includes admission to Holiday Nights, so families can stay to walk the decorated village afterwards. Packages must be bought in advance online or by phone; dining tickets are not sold on site, and the organizer notes that Holiday Nights products often sell out before the season starts.
