The 2026 Healthy Livonia Turkey Trot goes Halloween this year: the costume-friendly 5K starts at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday, October 31, 2026, at Bicentennial Park in Livonia. Walkers and runners are both welcome and costumes are encouraged, so families can make a morning of it before afternoon trick-or-treating. Registration is $20 per walker or runner through Livonia's online recreation portal; late registration opens at 8:30 a.m. on race day for cash or check only. Registering by Oct. 5 guaranteed a T-shirt, so later entrants may not get one. All proceeds go to the Livonia Goodfellows, and the city notes that canned food donations will not be accepted. The race is sponsored by Christian Financial Credit Union.
