Over Thanksgiving break, Cranbrook Institute of Science runs Discovery Days: Turkey and T. rex, exploring all things fossils and dinosaurs (including the bird-dinosaur connection the name hints at) with hands-on activities and interactive experiences around the museum's natural history exhibits. Activities run 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Wednesday, November 25 through Sunday, November 29, 2026; the museum is closed Thanksgiving Day, Thursday, November 26.
