Downtown Rochester's holiday light display, The Big, Bright Light Show, is listed on the DDA calendar from Tuesday, November 24, 2026 to Sunday, January 17, 2027, with a 5:00 p.m. start time. It is kicked off on Monday, November 23 from 6 to 9 p.m. by Lagniappe, now in its 53rd year: local merchants thank the community with "a little something extra" for patrons. Lagniappe is a Creole word meaning "a little something extra". The organizer says more festivity details are still to come.
