Holidays in Heritage is Canton Township's free seasonal lighted walk around the large pond in Heritage Park. From November 22 through December 31, 2026, special holiday light displays and festive decorations featuring reindeer, snowflakes, elves and other sights are set up along the path around the pond, and families are encouraged to stroll it with friends at their own pace. It makes an easy after-dinner outing with small children: the loop is short, there is no ticket, and strollers can follow the park paths. The calendar lists the opening on Sunday, November 22 at 5:00 p.m.; nightly hours are not printed, so plan on visiting after dark.
